Dare say one of the best prime rib I've ever had. King's cut prime rib for me and pork chop for the wife. Aged for 48 hours, the roast is then patiently perfected at 125F for 18 hours. Edge to edge medium rare with a fantastic herb crusted rub. Top notch service to go along with the food. Everyone, but our server Maz in particular, was wonderful and made it a most pleasant evening for our quick visit to St. Louis. Highly recommend and cannot wait to come back soon.

Our three generation family discovered this St. Louis treasure three years ago. We are devoted to the Sunday family prime rib dinner. The staff welcomes families and they are courteous and professional. The food and martinis are always amazing. My 9 yr old granddaughter's favorite meal was during a huge thunderstorm where everyone ate by cellphone light! We feel so fancy yet comfortable there.

What a hidden gem! I had no idea this place was here. Service was spectacular. They make you feel like a VIP. It's great for a date night or business dinner. Upscale, intimate. Food was spectacular. I had a filet with a peppercorn rub along with a Caesar salad. All perfection. I would definitely go back. Plenty of parking as well. I know that's a plus for many people!!

Went to Kreis' Steakhouse for the first time this weekend for a special occasion, and it was awesome! The ambiance was perfect, and the food was even better. We loved the crab cake appetizer and the prime rib (paired with asparagus)--absolutely delicious. The only area for improvement would be the service. While generally a pleasant experience, it felt a bit rushed for a nicer dinner spot. It was a Saturday night, so I get that it was busier than usual, but a slower pace would have been appreciated. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back soon--hopefully to try their prime rib special on a Sunday!

Let's be honest--steakhouses are not the first place you'd think of for a pescatarian-friendly meal, but Kreis Steakhouse in St. Louis has something up its sleeve. It's #stlouispescatarianapproved Here, seafood lovers like me get to enjoy the magic of steakhouse cooking, but with a pescatarian twist. And honestly? It works. I think steakhouses overcompensate on their seafood and veggie options because the steaks are second nature. For my main course, I created a #pescatarian grazing board: crab bisque, garlic shrimp, and crab cakes. Every bite was delicious. The crab bisque was rich, creamy and comforting, the garlic shrimp was perfectly tender, and the crab caves had the perfect crispiness. We started off with the tuna tartare because, let's face it, I can bully my friends into eating fish. As we sat down, we made a new friend--David, who's been working at Kreis for decades. So if you stop by, tell him Ace, Sadie, and Sara say hello!

I was early and went after my usual prime rib. This time I ate in the dining room and it was pretty quiet at first. Later on, the room started to fill with tables celebrating various things. Anniversaries, reunions, business dinners, etc. A bit out of the way but good eats.

Wonder classic steak house vibes with great service to match. I had the queen cut prime rib with a side of creamed spinach and it was excellent. If you are looking for a great prime rib, this is the spot. Yum.
